About Alpenglow Creations

Alpenglow Creations is a creative collaboration between Tess Bagnell and Marc Bacon. Our mission is to share our love for nature with others through photography and design. We hope to inspire others to enjoy the beauty of our natural world as much as we do.

Why Alpenglow?

Alpenglow is the light cast off of high mountains when the sun is rising or setting. This glow is often among the first visible light early in the mountain mornings and marks the beginning of the golden hour, the most ideal time for photography.

Some of our fondest memories involve the anticipation for alpenglow to illuminate a nearby mountain range while we sit at its foot, in a dark mountain valley, listening for nearly elk or wolves. This point marks the change from day to night and the time when we will know if we are going to be lucky enough to photograph any of the creatures that we thought might be nearby. We chose alpenglow to represent this project because of these special moments that we hope to try and share with our audience.

My photographic style is unique. I am always searching for unique angles and lighting, especially in my landscapes.
